Tonnau’r Môr is a family and couple oriented Seasonal Caravan and Touring Campsite; a hidden gem, nestled amongst the stunning, rugged coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula in Sarn Bach, Abersoch.

2026 Season: Open March 1st – October 31, 2026
We’re a small and unique caravanning and camping campsite, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of noisy crowds and busy roads.
The campsite situated near Abersoch is designed to prioritise sustainability, offer individuality, and to create an environment where immersion in nature is embraced.
Not only do we have the perfect location, just 330m from the beach at Machroes just south of Abersoch; we also have perfect facilities too.
We are proud to be able to showcase our state-of-the-art facilities which include:
- Brand-new Amenities Block featuring; showers with underfloor heating & hair dryers, 2 x accessible/family bathrooms, fully equipped with adapted showers, toilets, sinks and baby changing facilities – all free for our guests
- Utilities Area with; fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle and 2 sinks with hot water for washing up – all free for our guests
- Laundry Facilities – 2 x washing machines & 2 x tumble dryers (pre-pay)
- Outdoor Showering Area.
And as for WiFi, we’ve got that covered too!
We are installing professional standard WiFi throughout the site, ensuring our guests have the best possible upload and download speeds. All of which is free for guests to use.

We have 42 pitches for caravans / motorhomes at Tonnau'r Môr, split between seasonal and touring units.
12 Touring Units
Our serviced touring pitches at Tonnau'r Môr are a generous 9m x 8m as minimum size
34 Tents
We can allow up to 34 tents on site at Tonnau'r Môr which is dependent on size of unit.
Things to do around Abersoch
Watching Wildlife
There is numerous research that outlines the significant health benefits of spending time in nature. From anxiety and stress reduction, to improved mood and well-being, and enhanced cognitive function; nature has a way of restoring the body and resetting the mind.
Hiking around Abersoch
Hiking, walking in nature as a recreational activity. Because hikers can walk as far as they want, there is no physical strain. The Welsh Coast Path has some beautiful sections with breathtaking views stretching across the bay towards Eryi.
Fishing Abersoch
There is plenty of fishing to be had around Abersoch and the Llŷn Peninsula. From sea fishing by boat or from the shore to fly fishing rivers and and lakes.
Watersports
Watersports are a big part of Abersoch life. If you are not in the hills or Eyri you are most likely to be sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, wakeboarding swiming or surfing
Grass non-serviced
Our standard grass pitches are located in the first field. They have easy access to the amenities block and utility area. Some have great sea views whilst all are only 5mins walk fully loaded to the beach.
Maximum of 6 persons per pitch. Minimum one adult per site. Specific sites may be requested but they cannot be guaranteed.
